S&M Enterprise of Bayonne, N.J., is recalling all lots of Fruit of Wolfberry in 12-oz plastic bag packages.
The sulfites-containing product was distributed in packages that did not reveal the presence of sulfites People who are allergic to sulfites run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this recall.
The recalled product was distributed in retail stores in New York from June 2013 to August 2013.
Consumers who have purchased Fruit of Wolfberry in 12 oz plastic bag packages are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
