PhotoA&S Food Trading of Brooklyn, N.Y., is recalling packages of Gorgeous Memory Daylily.

 

The product contains sulfites, which are not listed on the label.

 

The consumption of 10 milligrams (mg) of sulfites per serving has been reported to elicit severe reactions in some asthmatics. Anaphylactic shock could occur in certain sulfite sensitive individuals upon ingesting 10 mg or more of sulfites. Analysis of Gorgeous Memory Daylily revealed they contained 4477.9 mg per serving.

 

No illnesses or allergic reaction involving this product have been reported to date.

 

The product, which comes in 10.6-oz (300 gram) clear plastic bags, was distributed through retail stores in New York City area.
