Ecola Seafoods recalls canned salmon and tuna

The product may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum

Ecola Seafoods of Cannon Beach, Ore., is recalling all canned salmon and tuna.

 

The product may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum.

 

There have been no reported cases of illness to date.

 

The last date of distribution of the recalled products, which were distributed in Oregon, was September 2015 (with an expiration date of September 2018.) Affected production codes include any codes starting with “OC.”

 

The following products, packaged in metal cans, are being recalled:

Albacore Tuna7.5 oz.
Smoked Albacore Tuna7.5 oz.
Coho Salmon7.5 oz.
Smoked Coho Salmon7.5 oz.
Chinook Salmon 7.5 oz.
Smoked Chinook Salmon 7.5 oz.

 

Customers who purchased the recalled products should return them to Ecola Seafoods for a full refund.
