The products did not undergo federal inspection.
There are no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
The following items, produced from December 3, 2018, through February 7, 2019, are being recalled:
- 30-lb. boxes of Los Hernandez Authentic Pork TAMALES Hand Made
- 30-lb. boxes of Los Hernandez Authentic Chicken TAMALES Hand Made
The recalled products were shipped to a Los Hernandez Tamales Restaurant in Union Gap, Washington, owned by the recalling establishment.
The individual tamales may have been packaged and sold to consumers from December 2018 through May 1, 2019.
What to do
Customers who purchased the recalled products should not consume them, but discard or return them to the place of purchase.
