J Deluca Fish Company recalls Yellow Walking Fish

The product did not undergo import re-inspection into the U.S.

J Deluca Fish Company, doing business as Nautilus Seafood, of Wilmington, Calif., is recalling approximately 69,590 pounds of Yellow Walking Fish.

The product did not undergo import re-inspection into the U.S. Additionally, theys were produced at a Vietnamese establishment that was not eligible to export Yellow Walking Fish to the U.S.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

The following products, imported from Vietnam from August 2018, to January 2019, are being recalled:

  • Varying weights of packages containing 2 pieces of HEADLESS-CLEANED YELLOW WALKING FISH Clarias Macrocepphalus CA TRE VANG LAM SACH CAT DAU FARM RAISED.
  • Varying weights of packages containing 2 pieces of WHOLE YELLOW WALKING FISH Clarias Macrocepphalus CA TRE VANG NGUYEN CON FARM RAISED.

The recalled product was shipped to distributors and retail locations nationwide.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but discard or returnit to the place of purchase.
