TDL Group recalls dried chicken soup mix products

The products were imported from Canada without inspection

The TDL Group of Ontario, Canada, is recalling approximately 636 pounds of dried chicken noodle soup mix products.

 

The products were imported without inspection, raising the possibility of adverse health consequences.

 

There are no confirmed reports of adverse reactions or illnesses due to consumption of these products.

 

The following item produced in Canada on May 16, 2016, and imported to the U.S. on or around July 16, 2016, is being recalled:

  • 16.9 oz./481 g plastic bagged packages of “Tim Hortons Chicken Noodle Soup Mix” with case code “CANADA S519” and Canadian health certificate number of 617844. Each case contains eight (8) bags.

The recalled product bears establishment number “Canada 368,” and was shipped to restaurants in Maine, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

 

What to do

 

Customers who purchased the product should not consume it, but throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.
