Bluecar SAS is recalling 149 model year 2016 Bluecar hybrid-electric vehicles manufactured June 7, 2015, to September 11, 2015.
The recalled vehicles have a gear shift lever that may break preventing the car from maintaining the intended gear position. As a result, the vehicle may become immobilized, increasing the risk of a crash.
Bluecar has notified the one purchaser of the affected vehicles and the remedy of replacing the gear shift with a newly designed gear lever has begun, free of charge.
