Products have possibility of being infected with Salmonella

Clik here to view.Dole Fresh Vegetables has recalled a limited number of cases of bagged salad due to possible Salmonella contamination. The recall was initiated voluntarily and there have been no reported cases of illnesses to date.
Salmonella is a bacteria that can cause salmonellosis in people who eat contaminated foods. Symptoms of salmonellosis include fever, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Young children, the elderly, and people with compromised immune systems are especially susceptible to the bacteria.
Dole Spinach salad products yielded positive results for Salmonella when they were tested by the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development; Laboratory Division. The product codes for recalled products are A27409B and A27409A. The “Enjoy By” date is October 15 and the UPC is 7143000976. These products are the only ones included in the recall, so other Dole products are acceptable for consumption.
The recalled products were distributed in 13 U.S. states, including Connecticut, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
