Giant Eagle recalls Little Italy Paninis

The product contains eggs, an allergen not listed on the label

Giant Eagle is recalling all lots of Little Italy Paninis, prepared and sold individually from the Prepared Foods department inside Giant Eagle and Market District supermarkets through March 23, 2015.

 

The product contains eggs, an allergen not listed on the label, but is safe for consumption by those who do not have egg allergies.

 

There are no reported illnesses to date associated with this recall.

 

The recalled Little Italy Paninis were sold in Giant Eagle and Market District supermarkets in Pennsylvania and Ohio.

 

The following UPCs are being recalled:

  • 97525 20399 Little Italy Panini, Cold
  • 07369 20399 Little Italy Panini, Hot

Customers with an egg allergy who purchased the affected product should dispose of it or return it to their local Giant Eagle or Market District store for a refund.
