Whole Foods Market recalls vegan pumpkin pie in southwest region stores

The product contains walnuts, an allergen not listed on the label

Whole Foods Market is recalling “Vegan pumpkin pie” produced and sold in the Southwest region, which includes Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arizona.

The product contains walnuts, an allergen not listed on the label

No allergic reactions or illnesses have been reported to date.

The product was sold as half and full pies packaged in both clear, clamshell packaging and brown, Kraft paper boxes UPCs 24917100000 and 24917300000 with “sell by” dates of 10/27/14-­‐ 11/30/14.

Signs are posted to notify customers of this recall, and all affected product has been removed from shelves.

Consumers who have purchased this product may bring their receipt to the store for a full refund.

Consumers with questions should contact their local store between the hours of 9am and 5pm CST.
