There have been no reported injuries or illnesses associated with this recall.
Wegmans Easter Bread was produced and sold exclusively in 83 Wegmans stores located in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Virginia and Maryland. Approximately 29,000 loaves of the bread are affected by the recall.
Wegmans Easter Bread is a braided loaf with drizzled white frosting (some loaves also have colored sprinkles). It is packaged in clear plastic, and sold in Wegmans bakery department.
Concerned customers should return the product to Wegmans for a full refund.
