People who have a severe sensitivity to sulfites run the risk of serious or life-threatening reactions if they consume these products.
The company says no illnesses have been reported to date.
Del Campo Papa Seca / DRY Potato is packed in a 14-oz. plastic bag and sold in a case of 24 bags. The UPC code is 891726000218 and the expiration date is June 2014. The product was distributed in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Illinois through retail stores.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled product should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
