Funky Chunky of Eden Prairie, Minn., is recalling Nutty Choco Pop Gift Box, Holiday Crowd Pleaser and Crowd Pleaser chocolate popcorn.
The product may contain almonds and cashews, allergens not declared on the label.
One allergic reaction has been reported.
The recalled product comes in a 10-oz. clear bag labeled Funky Chunky Nutty Choco Pop, a 10-oz. box labeled Nutty Choco Pop Gift Box (lot code 8K30), a 50-oz. Holiday Crowd Pleaser package (lot code 8K29) and a 50-oz. Crowd Pleaser package (lot code 8K13, 8k27, 8L04, 8L04, 8L07 and 8L11).
It was sold in Arizona, Alabama, California, Colorado, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming through mail order or direct delivery.
What to do
The company is notifying customers who purchased the recalled product so they can discard it.
Funky Chunky will replace the 10-oz. Nutty Choco Pop with properly labeled product when it receives a completed recall response form.
