NuVue Foods recalls chicken burritos

NuVue Foods of Hamtramck, Mich., is recalling approximately 268 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken burrito products.

The products contain egg, an allergen not declared on the label.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.

The following items, produced on October 31, 2018, are being recalled:

  • 6-oz. individually wrapped packages of 18th Street Deli Chicken Burrito bearing expiration dates of EXP 11/12/18 and EXP 11/14/2018.

The recalled products, bearing establishment number P-22061, inside the USDA mark of inspection, were shipped to retail locations -- specifically vending machines -- in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled products should not consume them, but discard them or return them to the place of purchase.
