Les Aliments O Sole Mio recalls chicken tortellini

The imported products did not undergo inspection

PhotoLes Aliments O Sole Mio of Boisbriand, Quebec, Canada, is recalling approximately 3,880 pounds of chicken tortellini.

The products, which were imported into the U.S., did not undergo inspection by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.

The following heat treated, not fully cooked, not shelf stable items, produced on October 20, 2018, are being recalled:

  • 20-oz. packages of OSOLE MIO LA PASSIONE DELLA CUCINA ITALIANA Tortellini CHICKEN with lot code 293018 and USE ON OR FREEZE BY JAN. 18 19.

The recalled products, bearing Canadian establishment number 764 within the Canadian mark of inspection, were shipped to warehouses in Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled products should not consume them, but discard them or return them to the place of purchase.
