Dutch Valley recalls Honey Roasted Peanuts

The peanut product contain wheat and milk, allergens not listed on the label

PhotoDutch Valley Food Distributors is recalling its Honey Roasted Peanuts due to the presence of milk and wheat, ingredients on listed on the product label. There have been no illnesses or issues reported regarding consumption of this product to date.

The recall affects the following product:

  • Item # 050143 Honey Roasted Peanuts UPC# 8 77245 00143 3; all products with a Best By date prior to and including 1/21/14

Best By date can be located next to nutritional panel

The product is in a clear 11-oz retail package and was distributed twelve packages per case, in the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin. It was also sold on the company website, www.dutchvalleyfoods.com.

Consumers who have purchased these products are asked to destroy them or to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
