PhotoPapyrus-Recycled Greetings Canada Ltd. is recalling Diaper Loading greeting cards.

Loose pieces from the Velcro closures on the cards diaper flaps can eject due to the force of separation from opening the card, creating a risk of eye injury.

The company has received one report of an eye injury in Canada.

This recall involves the Papyrus brand greeting card for new babies. The front of the card features a diaper with Velcro closures on the diaper flaps and reads "Diaper Loading . . ." The inside reads "Love and congrats on all the happy changes."

The card is sold in a clear envelope with the following numbers found on the enclosed slip sheet: UPC 059584180998; 12026817 above the UPC; and NB 5721217 in the right corner.

The recalled cards, manufactured in China, were sold from February to April 2018.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled product should immediately stop using it and should not give the card away, but return it to the retailer for a refund.

Consumers with questions may contact Papyrus-Recycled Greetings at 800-777-4891 from 9:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (ET) or by email at communications@prgreetings.com. Assistance in French is only available by email.
