Guymon Extracts recalls fully cooked pork soup

The product may contain Clostridium botulinum and Clostridium perfringens

Guymon Extracts of Guymon, Okla., is recalling approximately 4,202 pounds of fully cooked pork soup.

A processing deviation that may have allowed potential spore-forming pathogen growth including Clostridium botulinum and Clostridium perfringens.

The following item, produced and packaged on January 3, 2018, is being recalled:

  • 2.2 lb. - 10 polybag pillows packed in paper cartons containing Pork Soup with Rendered Pork Fat (from bone) with lot code 010218-1, a product code of 61306 and a best before date of Dec. 22, 2019.

The recalled product, bearing establishment number Est. 32161 inside the USDA mark of inspection, was sent to distribution centers and were further distributed in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Texas and Washington.
