Airtex Products is recalling 141 fuel pumps model number E3591M that are made for certain General Motors vehicles, including the Chevrolet Malibu (2004 to 2008), Pontiac G6 (2005 to 2008), and Saturn Aura (2007 and 2008).
The fuel pump has an electrical connector which may not properly seal, allowing fuel to escape and increasing the risk of a fire.
Airtex will notify owners and will replace the fuel pumps, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.
