PhotoDuruxx is recalling 17 model year 2015-2016 DRX2 Low-Speed vehicles.

The recalled vehicles can exceed the 40 km/h speed allowed under the "Low Speed Vehicle" classification.

As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 500, "Low Speed Vehicles."

If the vehicles can exceed the allowed speed, it can increase the risk of a crash.

What to do

Duruxx will notify owners, and dealers will adjust the throttle body to limit the maximum speed, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin May 15, 2017.
