Jayco is recalling 14 model year 2017 Designer fifth wheel recreational trailers equipped with the disk brake option.
The spare tire's steel rim may rub against the brake caliper. The interference may generate enough heat to cause the tire to fail, increasing the risk of a crash.
What to do
Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will replace the spare wheel with an aluminum rim with a new spare, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin April 28, 2017.
