Somersault Snack Co., is recalling approximately 712 cases of 1 ounce Somersault Pacific Sea Salt products that were distributed to Target Stores in 6-Count Multi-Packs.
Limited quantities of Somersault Santa Fe Salsa flavored product were inadvertently commingled with Somersault Pacific Sea Salt flavored product in packages labeled as “Somersault Pacific Sea Salt 1oz.” This introduced an allergen (milk), which is not listed on the packaging as either an ingredient or an allergen to the Somersault Pacific Sea Salt 1oz. Packages.
No allergic reactions have been reported.
All of the affected product was distributed to Target Stores through their distribution centers in California, Ohio, Georgia, Kansas and South Carolina. No affected product was distributed to or received by any other Somersault Snack customer.
The following product is affected:
- Somersault Pacific Sea Salt 1oz. Packages in 6-Count Multi-Pack Boxes
- BOX UPC: 898403 00221 5 (located on the bottom of the box)
- PACKAGE UPC: 898403 00220 8 (located on the rear panel of each package)
- SELL BY DATES: FEB061483 and FEB061481
Consumers who believe they have purchased products affected by this recall should return them to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.
