R&R Provision recalls breaded veal products

The products contain whey and nonfat milk, allergen not declared on the label

PhotoR&R Provision Company of Easton, Pa., is recalling approximately 23,040 pounds of breaded veal products.

The products contain whey and nonfat milk, known allergens which are not declared on the product label.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

The the following items, produced from April 14, 2016, through November 17, 2016, are being recalled:

  • 5.3-OZ. Plastic sealed packages containing 30 pieces of BREADED VEAL STEAKS bearing package code RR27-4102.
  • 7.5-OZ. Plastic sealed packages containing 20 pieces of BREADED VEAL STEAKS bearing package code RR27-4142.
  • 5.3-OZ. Plastic sealed packages containing 30 pieces of BREADED VEAL STEAKS bearing the package code RR27-4122.
  • 4-OZ. Plastic sealed packages containing 40 pieces of BREADED VEAL STEAKS bearing the package code RR27-4132.
  • 4-OZ. Plastic sealed packages containing 30 pieces of BREADED VEAL PATTIES bearing the package code RR27-4092.
  • 5.3-OZ. Plastic sealed packages containing 40 pieces of BREADED VEAL PATTIES bearing the package code RR27-5002.

The recalled products, bearing establishment number EST. 1081 inside the USDA mark of inspection, were shipped to restaurants in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and sold at the establishments retail store.

What to do

Customers who purchased these products should not consume them, but throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
