Butterfly Bakery is recalling 14.5 ounce packages of Whole Grain Harvest Berry Muffins, UPC 6 43482 60014 8.
The product contains walnuts, an allergen that poses a serious risk of serious or life threatening allergic reaction of consumed by people with an allergy or severe sensitivity. No illnesses have been reported to date.
This product, which has not been produced since November 26, 2012, is packed in a clear clam-shell type package with a label which also serves to seal the item.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the product was still available and being sold at a single Price Chopper store located in Schenectady, N.Y.
Consumers are urged to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
