JM Exotic Foods, Inc. is recalling ground turmeric distributed to a farmer’s market in Doraville, Ga., from May – August 2016
The product contains elevated levels of lead.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
The following lots, Item Number 1153 packaged in 4-oz. clear plastic clamshells, are being recalled:
- Lot# 16131185
- Lot# 16165184
What to do
Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but return it for a full refund.
