Meadow Gold Dairy recalls whipping cream and half and half

The products were not sufficiently pasteurized

The Meadow Gold Dairy plant in Boise, Idaho, is recalling approximately 10,000 units of Meadow Gold brand Old Style Whipping Cream and Meadow Gold DairyPure brand Whipping Cream and Half and Half.

 

The products were not sufficiently pasteurized, raising the possible that pathogens present in raw milk, including Salmonella, Campylobacter, Listeria, and/or E. coli, may have survived.

 

There are no reports of illnesses related to the recalled products to date.

 

The following products carrying plant code 16-05 are being recalled:

The recalled products were distributed through numerous retail outlets and food service settings in Idaho, Oregon, Wyoming and Utah.

 

What to do

 

Customers who have this product should not consume it, but discard it and return the product package to the place of purchase for a full refund or exchange.
