Sid Wainer and Son recalls tart shells

The products contain coconut and eggs, allergens not listed on the label

PhotoSid Wainer & Son of New Bedford, Mass., is voluntarily recalling Domaine de Provence La Cucina Tart Shells and Domaine de Provence Neutral 3” Cone Tart Shells.

 

The products contain coconut and eggs, allergens not listed on the label, but are safe for those without these allergies.

 

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

 

The following products, packaged in a brown cardboard box, are being recalled:

  • Domaine de Provence La Cucina Tart Shells, 252 pieces per box containing undeclared Eggs with UPC 708152149119
  • Domaine de Provence Neutral 3” Cone Tart Shells, 308 pieces per box containing undeclared Coconut UPC 708152316856

The products were distributed to food service establishments nationwide.

 

What to do

 

Customers who purchased the recalled products should return them to the place of purchase or dispose of them.

 

Consumers with questions may contact the company at 1-800-423-8333, extension 168 or 119, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
