The mattress pads fail to meet the mandatory federal flammability standard

PhotoHollander Sleep Products of Boca Raton, Fla., is recalling about 4,700 Wamsutta mattress pads.

 

The mattress pads fail to meet the mandatory federal flammability standard for mattresses and mattress pads, posing a fire hazard.

 

No incidents or injuries have been reported.

 

This recall involves all sizes of Wamsutta Dream Zone cotton 800 thread count mattress pads, manufactured from August 2015, through January 2016. Hollander Sleep Products, style number 266BB and the manufacture date are printed on a label on a side of the mattress pad.

 

The mattress pads, manufactured in the U.S., were sold exclusively at Bed, Bath & Beyond stores nationwide and online at www.bedbathandbeyond.com from August 2015, through January 2016, for between $110 and $170.

 

What to do

 

Consumers should immediately stop using the mattress pads and contact Hollander Sleep Products for postage paid shipping label and instructions on returning the product for a full refund.
