Taylor Farms Florida recalls salads containing chicken

The product may contain wheat and sesame, allergens not listed on the label

Taylor Farms Florida of Orlando, Fla., is recalling approximately 151 pounds of a chicken salad product.

The product may contain wheat and sesame,  allergens not listed on the label.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of this product.

The following ready-to-eat (RTE) chicken salad item, produced on May 23, 2016, is being recalled:

  • 11-oz. (312-g) of individually packaged “Wawa thai style chicken mango salad with thai peanut flavored dressing” with a sell by date of 05/28/2016.  

The recalled product bears establishment number “Est. P-44818” inside the USDA mark of inspection, and was shipped to Wawa convenience stores in Florida.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.
