Jayco is recalling 2,105 model year 2016 Eagle Half Ton fifth wheels and Eagle travel trailers manufactured April 8, 2015, to February 19, 2016.
The positive cable (B+) connecting the battery box to the roof-mounted solar panel preparation package may not be protected by a circuit breaker.
Without circuit protection, the wire may short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.
What to do
Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will tie the unprotected circuit into a 30 amp circuit breaker, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in March 2016.
