Best Cash & Carry of Maspeth, N.Y., is recalling Rose Brand dry Turkish apricots imported from .

 

The product contains sulfites, an allergen not listed on the label.

 

The consumption of 10 milligrams of sulfites per serving has been reported to elicit severe reactions in some asthmatics. Analysis of the recalled product revealed it contained 250.0 milligrams per serving.

 

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this product

 

The recalled product comes in an un-coded, 7-oz. plastic bag and 5-lb. clear plastic bag and was sold in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey.
