Hannaford Supermarkets recalls cookies

The cookies may contain nuts that are not listed on the product packaging label

Hannaford Supermarkets is recalling two products sold in the bakery section because they may contain nuts that are not listed on the product packaging label.

The affected items are:

  • Hannaford Gourmet Oatmeal Raisin Cookies (9 oz. package, UPC # 0004126872715)
  • Hannaford Gourmet Cookie Platter (36 oz. package, UPC # 04126874662)

All affected products have been removed from store shelves.

Scarborough, Maine-based Hannaford operates 181 stores in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York and Massachusetts.

Consumers may return the product to any Hannaford store for a full refund.
