Vosges, LTD of Chicago, Ill., is recalling approximately 135 pounds of Uncured Bacon Ganache chocolate products.
The products contain coconut, an allergen not listed on the label.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
The following products, packaged from Jan. 15, 2016, to Jan. 22, 2016, and stamped with a BEST BY code 03 SEP 2016, are being recalled:
- 135-lb. (720 bars) individual paper carton containing 3oz. flow wrapped bars of “Trader Joe’s Uncured Bacon Ganache Bar” (SKU 55001).
The recalled products bear establishment number “EST. 34647” inside the USDA mark of inspection, and were shipped to retail locations in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Customers who have these products should not consume them, but throw them away or returned them to the place of purchase.
