PhotoForest River is recalling 285 model year 2014-2016 Legacy motorhomes, models 340BH, 340KP, and 360RB, manufactured September 12, 2013, to September 25, 2015.

The recalled vehicles are equipped with a seat belts whose shoulder belt may rest at, or below, the shoulder of the seat occupant. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies", and 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

If the shoulder belt rests too low on the torso, it can increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash.

Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will install new seat belt systems, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin January 19, 2016.

Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-800-348-7440. Forest River's number for this recall is 40-11192015-0117.
