Meijer Caramel Corn recalled

The product contains milk, an allergen not listed on the label

PhotoDedinas-Franzak Enterprises is recalling about 62,000 packages of Meijer Caramel Corn.

 

While butter is listed as an ingredient, milk is not specifically noted in the allergen statement.

 

There have been no injuries or illnesses reported to date associated with this product.

 

The 10-oz packages (UPC#7-08820-32666-8), sold in the snack aisle throughout the Meijer chain in stores in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin, carry the following expiration dates:

 

8/23/15, 10/10/15, 10/28/15, 11/19/15, 11/21/15, 11/27/15, 12/5/15, 12/12/15, 12/25/15, 12/30/15, 1/25/16, 2/29/16, 3/18/16, 3/19/16, 3/28/16.

 

The date codes are printed in black ink printed on the front top right of the package.

 

Customers who purchased the recalled product may return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
