The wax warmers can produce high flames, posing fire and burn hazards
November 16, 2015Family Dollar Services of Matthews, N.C., is recalling about 32,000 wax warmers.
The wax warmers can produce high flames, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers.
The company has received 11 reports of the warmers producing high flames, including two reports of burn injuries and three reports of property damage.
This recall involves ceramic wax warmer sets that include four vanilla-scented wax cubes for melting and a teacup-shaped ceramic warmer with an opening to insert a tea light candle. Candles are not sold as part of set. The ceramic warmers were colored cream with gold trim, and green with gold trim.
The wax warmers, manufactured in China, were sold exclusively at Family Dollar stores nationwide from April 2015, through September 2015, for $4.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled wax warmers and return them to any Family Dollar store location for a full refund.
