Old Oregon Smokehouse recalls canned Albacore tuna

The product may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum

PhotoOld Oregon Smokehouse of Rockaway, Ore., is recalling all canned Albacore tuna with any codes starting with “OC.”

 

The product may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum.

 

There have been no reported cases of illnesses to date.

 

The recalled product was sold to consumers from the company's retail stores in Tillamook, Ore., and Rockaway, Ore., through September 2015.

 

Affected production start with “OC,” which can be found on either the bottom or on top of the 6-oz. metal can. The recalled product carries no UPC code.

 

Customers who purchased the recalled product should destroy it or return it to the firm for a full refund.
