Dungeness Seaworks recalls all canned seafood products

The products may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum

PhotoDungeness Seaworks of Sequim, Wash., is recalling canned albacore tuna with any code starting with "OC.”

 

The products may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum.

 

There have been no reported cases of illness to date.

 

The following products, with codes starting with “OC,” are being recalled:

The code can be found on either the bottom or on top of the 6-oz net weight cans.

 

The products were distributed to Nash's Farm Store, Sunny Farms, and Nourish Sequim in Sequim

Wash; Agnew Grocery and Feed in Agnew, Wash; Abundantly Green in Poulsbo, Wash; and sold at Farmer’s Markets in Poulsbo, Wash., and in Port Angeles, Wash. The last date of distribution of recalled the products is September 2015.

 

Customers who purchased the recalled products should return them to the place of purchase for a

full refund.
