Mr. Goodcents Franchise Systems recalls chocolate chip cookies

The product may contain peanuts, an allergen not listed on the label

Mr. Goodcents Franchise Systems of De Soto, Kan., is recalling chocolate chip cookies that may contain peanuts, an allergen not listed on the label.

 

To date there have been no reports of illness associated with consumption of these cookies.

 

The product was distributed to Mr. Goodcents restaurants located in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota.

 

The cookies are sold in individual bags containing one 1.25-oz cookie that indicate the cookie is one of three varieties, one of which is chocolate chip cookie. There are no identifying codes on the bag. Potentially affected cookies were sold from August 31, 2015, and September 22, 2015.

 

Customers who purchased the recalled product should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
