Best Cash & Carry of Maspeth, N.Y., is recalling Best Brand Green Raisin (Sunderkhani)
The product may contain sulfites, an allergen not listed on the label.
The consumption of 10 milligrams of sulfites per serving has been reported to elicit severe reactions in some asthmatics. Analysis of the recalled product revealed it contained 16.96 milligrams per serving.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.
The recalled product comes in an un-coded, 7-oz. plastic bag and was sold in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey.
Customers who purchased the recalled product should return it to the place of purchase.
