Jose Madrid Salsa of Zanesville, Ohio, is recalling Jose Madrid Salsa Original Mild Salsa packaged in 13-oz jars.
The product jars may have been sealed improperly. Compromised seals or seams could result in product contamination by spoilage organisms or pathogens and may lead to illness if consumed.
There have been no reports to date of any illness associated with these products.
Approximately 96 jars of product were distributed in the Zanesville, Ohio, and Baltimore, Md., areas, and bear the following product lot code:

Customers may return unused portions of the recalled product to the place of purchase or to Jose Madrid Salsa directly for either a replacement jar or full refund.
