Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery & Grill of Bronx, N.Y., is recalling 6,188 cases of Shrimp and Soya Patties.
The products contain egg, an allergen not listed on the label.
There are no reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
The 17.2-lbs product cases are marked on the side with expiration dates 1/24/2015 through 2/26/2016. Each bulk case contains 50 individual frozen pieces lined with parchment paper. They were distributed directly to Golden Krust stores in the Northeast, through a distributor for Golden Krust stores in Florida, Georgia and 3 other distributors.
Anyone with egg allergies who has any of the recalled product should not consume it, but rather discard it.
